It wouldn’t be a wine festival without good music! The powgrape stage is always rocking with some of the best bands in Virginia. This year, We’re excited to have KOS Band!

The KOS Band is an exciting, powerful, and dynamic 11 piece musical entity playing all the best dance music. Featuring Top 40, Motown, and classic rock ‘n’ roll hits from the 60's through today, The KOS Band has kept people of all ages crowding dance floors up and down the east coast for more than 40 years! From a festive open air concert to the most ultra-formal black tie affair, KOS has enthusiasm and showmanship that are sure to please. They’ll be providing music throughout the event, with a live performance set for 2–6 PM. Read all about them here.

Good food is not hard to find at The Festival of the Grape! We round up a variety of local food trucks to join the food court each year. You can also dine at The County Seat & Maxey’s Store.

FAQ

When are vendor applications available?

Generally around March of each year.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Service dogs only. This is a crowded event and we want to keep your pup safe!

What about parking?

At each entrance to the festival, you'll see directions to our parking lots. Parking attendants will guide you.

Parking lots are located at the following addresses:

  • 3920 Marian Harland Lane (best if coming from the East)

  • Powhatan Elementary: 4111 Old Buckingham Road (best if coming from the West)

  • War Memorial Building: 2375 Skaggs Road 

  • Powhatan United Methodist Church: 2253 Rosson Road 

Handicap Parking is available at the following addresses:

  • 3910 Old Buckingham Road (Powhatan Village Building)

  • 3908 Old Buckingham Road (Human Services Building) 

Can I bring a cooler?

Outside food and beverage is not allowed at the event. Wine can be purchased by the bottle and consumed on festival grounds. Plus, we'll have plenty of food vendors to keep you satisfied!

Can I get a Ticket refund?

No refunds are offered on tickets.
