The 9th Annual Powhatan Festival of the Grape is right around the corner!

Gates open at 11am and close at 6pm

We are planning on another beautiful fall day in our quaint little Powhatan Village, located in the heart of Virginia!

Visitors and residents are welcome to come and enjoy the 26 Virginia Wineries...

There will be more than 100 quality Art & Craft vendors to enjoy and start your holiday shopping.
Our Food court will be brimming with delicious Virginia food from our local vendors...

We welcome you, your family and friends to come join this beautiful event in our charming Village. We look forward to seeing you all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Parking?

Parking is free, and we hire professional parking companies to help us keep this organized. Whether you come in toward the festival from the East or West there will be plenty of friendly folks there to direct you.

Ticket Purchasing?

On this very web site there is a link on the left for online ticket purchasing as well as a list of our local businesses selling the tickets at their locations

Cost?

Tickets are $20 (prior to day of event) for those with a valid ID and are over 21 yrs old who wish to sample the wines. You will receive a wine glass as part of your Tasting Ticket Purchase and this will give you the opportunity to get free samples of wine from the wineries.

NON Tasting tickets are $15 (prior to day of event) for those under age or not wishing to drink.
Ticket prices do go up the day of the event $25 for Tasting tickets and $20 for non-Tasting tickets
Of course if you find some wine you just love and need to purchase, we have a "Wine Check" where you can leave your purchases until it’s time for you to leave.

What to Bring?

Well good walking shoes are recommended! Camp chairs are a good idea but we do have seating in front of stages. Money, because you're not going to be able to resist the amazing art work, wine and delicious foods!

What NOT to bring?

No cooler, tents, or pets.

Bathroom facilities?

2 locations we call "Pottyville" with lots of port a potty’s including handicap and a baby changing station.

Can we bring our children?

Of course! This is a family friendly wine festival! Children 12 and under are free all others up to 21 years of age need a non tasting ticket (see cost above)
