When and where is the Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape?

What is the Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape?
The Powhatan Festival of the Grape is festival that gives an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to gather and celebrate the community of Powhatan.
Is there a dress code for the event?
There is no enforced dress code; however, we do ask you to dress in keeping with the nature of the event. Please check the weather and dress appropriately. Please wear shoes you are comfortable walking in.
How do I purchase tickets? Where do I pick up my purchased tickets?
Hard Ticket mail-out - $1.95 per order. Available option on a ticket by ticket basis, this option allows you to choose to have your tickets mailed from Ticketstobuy to your mailing destination (U.S. only please) via the US Postal Service standard delivery. Once you complete your ticket purchase, our system will receive a copy of the order and will begin the mail-out process. Expected delivery time for a normal ticket order is within 14 business days from receipt of the order in our system. This method of delivery becomes unavailable one week from the concert date to allow for delivery time from the U.S. postal service.
Ticketstobuy® Print@Home TicketTM -FREE. This allows you to print your tickets from your computer and printer. Once you complete your ticket purchase, our system will provide a print tickets button and allow you to print your purchased tickets. Please bring all of your printed ticket sheets to the gate for entry into the event. Please do not cut the ticket sheets! Electronic barcodes are not accepted at the front gate in place of a printed ticket sheet.
Where do I park for the event?
Free parking is available throughout the courthouse area. There will be professional parking services available to assist with traffic direction and parking of your vehicle.
How do I get around during the Festival?
Our event is designed to be within walking distance of the festival. We will have shuttles services available to and from our main gates from the parking lots during the hours of 11:00am to 6:30pm.
Does the Festival benefit any nonprofit organization?
Yes, this festival is the only fundraiser for the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is proud to donate 10% of the profit, not to exceed more than $5,000, to a local nonprofit to recognize the Susan B. Ash Award.
What is included in our ticket price for the Festival?
- Drinking Ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, tasting to all 30 Virginia wineries, live entertainment, and an opportunity to purchase from elite vendors.
- Non-Drinking Ticket includes live entertainment, and an opportunity to purchase from elite vendors.
- Children 10 & under are free
Are children allowed at this event?
Children of all ages are allowed strollers are permitted.
Is the festival cancelled if it rains or there is bad weather?
No. This is a rain or shine event.
Are tickets refundable?
Under no circumstances are tickets refundable.
Can we bring our pet?
No pets are allowed unless they are service animals and they must be marked.
Can we bring outside alcohol?
No alcohol is allowed from the outside. We have two local restaurants within our courthouse square that sells alcoholic beverages.
