Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape has become much more than just a Chamber of Commerce or economic development event.  The festival has become an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to gather and celebrate community – the community of Powhatan.

10th Anniversary of Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape is this year!

There will be 30 Virginia Wineries, Food Vendors, 100 Arts & Crafts Vendors, 25 Chamber Member Vendors and plenty of Live Entertainment.

From the early beginnings of 2002, the Festival has grown annually in both number of attendees and reputation, other wine festivals in the region have in part modeled their events after our winning formula. 

Attendance last year was estimated at 7,500 and, with another beautiful day anticipated, this year’s attendance could reach 8,500. 

So start making your plans and head to the Historic Courthouse Square in Powhatan, VA.
